Auditor General Eugene DePasquale has easily won a second term.
The incumbent triumphed over Republican nominee John Brown.
With 88% of precincts in, DePasquale secured 2,370,341 (51%) while Brown got 2,066,472 (44%).
We’ll have updates on the final vote tallies and percentages in the near future.

Eugene was an excellent candidate. That his opponent got even near 44% shows how tough it was that election night for Dems.
@ Denny I couldn’t agree with you more. Congrats Eugene. My only criticism is this Clearly he understands Johnny Doc is about to be jammed up with about 158 million counts of racketeering and assault; normally Eugene gives his proxy to Johnny Doc at DRPA. Last 2 months he’s allowed Johns bartender daughter to sit it on these meetings. Tara Chupka. Find a better qualified replacement. Surely there’s someone more qualified than a Union Thugs daughter.
He should have won. He has done an outstanding, impartial job, been financially responsible, and stayed away from the partisan venom. A rising star, and I’m a Republican-turned-Libertarian saying this.
