You might not have realized it, but today is actually Election Day.
The various members of the Electoral College are casting their ballots in the state capitals.
According to Charles Thompson of the Patriot-News, about a dozen protesters were arrested at the Capitol.

The actual scene in the chamber was lively, with fury from the protesters and celebration from the assembled electors. Despite the outcry, no electors defected and all twenty voted for Donald Trump.
While all the votes are being cast today, it won’t be official until they’re counted on January 6th before a joint session of Congress.

Could we classify the efforts to interfere with electors as sedition? Consider:

Idiot Trump protestors should make better use of their time. One of them barked out “Trump is Hitler”! Yeah, that makes sense! What a bunch of pathetic idiots! Wait until the anarchists torch D.C. on January 20th, I hope Bikers for Trump and law enforcement cave in their skulls and incarcerate these goons en masse and they will never make it to another protest ever again. Too bad lefties like Bill Ayers and Sal Alinsky radical, Crooked Hillary will never tell these people to stop even though their efforts are futile. The protests in Portland, Oregon cost city taxpayers $500,000 in police overtime and cost businesses and insurance companies millions in the property damage from these drug addled creeps who chanted Commie slogans and acted like a bunch of crybullies!

Since school is out at most universities, maybe they were college kids. Or housewives. Or senior citizens. Or just so committed to the cause that they sacrificed a day off work. Hmmm…now what was your point, John Galt?
