Ex-Attorney General Kathleen Kane To Be Jailed Thursday Morning

Today, Montgomery County Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy ordered former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane to report to jail Thursday morning by 9 a.m. to begin her 10-23 month sentence, the Inquirer reports.

Kane was convicted and sentenced on perjury and other charges in 2016 relating to abusing power of the AG office in an attempt to smear former state prosecutor Frank Fina, a political enemy. She resigned from her position as AG after her conviction, according to the AP.

Kane was free on bail while she appealed the case.

Yesterday, the state Supreme Court refused to hear her appeal.

Kane, once seen as a rising star in politics, was the first Democrat and first woman elected to Pennsylvania’s Attorney General position in 2012

  1. It’s about time. I wonder if she’ll use her twin sister as a decoy for the press again while she sneaks in through the back door.

  2. Shocked that Diano is still defending Kane. What a loser! Wonder if he will cry himself to sleep tonight?

      1. Soon what? I must be deep in your daddy’s pants for you to make threats, junior junior. Bring it on. I aint no band leader.

  3. shame …Political revenge for exposing PORN, DA and Former DA in MONTCO should hang their heads, and look over their political shoulders they are NOT exempt

  4. Political retaliation for exposing the porn email crowd if the legal system and elsewhere. When do taxpayers get to read the report exposing these filthy culprits?

  5. Gross miscarriage of justice. Political prosecution and abuse of the courts. Ridiculous sentence and waste of taxpayer dollars. Imprisonment for non-violent (and dubious) crime is a disgrace. She’s not a danger to society and house-arrest or ankle-monitoring would be far more sensible.

    1. She could have also not been an ass and just done her job. She’s to blame. No one else.

Let it go David. She sucks and she is getting what she deserves.

    2. Sorry for your loss, David. Truly bizarre you’re against the prosecution of elected officials (especially the state’s top law enforcement officer) who abuse their power!

      You’re a joke, Diano!
