Chaka Fattah wants a pardon from President Obama.
The former Congressman was convicted on all charges in June and sentenced to 10 years in prison last October.
The letter was written by former Special Counsel to President Bill Clinton Lanny Davis and Reverend Therman Evans.
They base their request on three assertions: prejudice by the Judge, misconduct by the prosecutors and evidence flaws in the case.
Fattah’s sentence is sent to start on January 25th, just five days after Pres. Obama leaves office.

So many Democrats, so many corruption charges.
Of all the things that aren’t going to happen, this thing isn’t going to happen *the most.*
What does he think, hes still dealing with Bill Clinton’s pay to play White House??? Times have changed Chakka!
Don’t do it President Obama.
dont do da crime if you don wanna do da time
Obama will never support this…hes not going to tarnish his reputation for Fattah, the crook.
The RNC should support this pardon, since they believe in rewarding LOSERS.
Ridiculous. Public officials should be held to a higher standard. Fattah abused his position and most certainly should see time. It’s as simple as that.
Suggest the President lose Fattah’s number. Don’t want to go to jail, don’t break the law.
No. Fattah needs to serve his time. Fattah abused his office and should pay the price.
