A top GOP lawmaker in Harrisburg said he opposes Wolf’s call for a $15 minimum wage, but is open to discussing a raise of some sort. Here is the Playbook.

  1. The point is that everybody serving in the legislature has top flight healthcare and good pay. The is most certainly not the case for minimum wage workers. They often have 3 jobs to eek by with minimal or no health benefits. They are on the exact opposite part of the spectrum of those in the legislature. For 10 years these people have been pushed aside while massive tax cuts have happened on a federal scale and the rich got richer. The world will not end if minimum wage workers get a raise. The sky will not fall. Life will absolutely go on.
