Apparently, Seth Williams is still deciding what to do.
Previously the Philadelphia District Attorney was content to give the men working in his office who were involved in the infamously lewd emails just a session of “sensitivity training”.
Now, however, William Bender of the Daily News is reporting that Fina, Costanzo and Blessington are all being transferred within Williams’ office.
Frank Fina and Marc Costanzo will be moved from Special Investigations to Civil Litigation and Appeals respectively. Meanwhile, Pat Blessington is going from Insurance Fraud to the Post Conviction Relief Action Unit.
According to Bender the changes take effect on Monday and were only recently announced to staff via email.

Fina needs to resign. He needed to resign months ago. Philadelphia Magazine did a story today:

Gulag is correct, I believe. But an inner-office transfer men’s nothing. They are still getting their salaries. They are still City employees. They still have City computers and probably City cars. I cannot imagine what Williams thinks he was achieving unless he is giving them time to find new jobs.
Transferring people that deserve to be fired achieves nothing. And it appears like he is playing the shell-game.
Seth Williams is only moving Fina and friends because of the heat he is getting from Philly City Council, etc. He was wrong to think he could do a sham counseling session of sensitivity and get away with it. So now he’s doing a lateral move to appear like he took action. Pathetic.

If, in fact, she leaked Grand Jury testimony, who leaked the information from Bonus Gate? Who told the Patriot News at least one year before Sandusky was charged? All of thesw questions need answered. Kathleen Kane has not had her day in court, but because she is a woman, she is guilty. Give me a break. I’m offended by these emails and I am upset that taxpayers money was spent using taxpayers computers. We deserve more not less. Yes, I blame Corbett and Fina for trying to take down Joe Paterno and Penn State. Pure politics on Corbett’s part and I’m sure Fina was told to go after Joe Paterno and Penn State. Fina, now a city prosecutor for District Attorney Seth Williams, declined to comment yesterday. Williams’ spokesman, Cameron Kline, said Fina is not “taking any questions from the media.”

Ha3 – That is a very disturbing set of facts. I hope it’s not true – but it sure seems that Mr. Fina dis some seriously unethical things. Putting the e-mails aside for a second, his conduct in that legislative sting case needs to be looked at. And Williams hiring Fina’s attorney’s wife needs to be heavily scrutinized.
It has been reported that the FBI turned down the legislative sting case. Did they know about Fina’s racist e-mails? Did they speak to Beener and get the low-down? If so – why didn’t Williams do the same due-dilligence.
He got all sorts of Press for those shallow “convictions” where the allegedly corrupt politicians got no punishment and got to keep their pensions. Now – with one defendant standing up to Fina, the truth is coming out. These sting case shenanigans are the REAL STORY here.

That lawyer now stands to profit from Fina’s $$$-driven lawsuit against AG Kane. And that lawyer;s wife was just hired to a high-paying job as General Counsel by Seth Williams.
