Cumberland County District Attorney Dave Freed was nominated by President Trump to be the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Jonathan Tamari tweeted out the news.
Trump nominates David Freed to be US Attorney for Middle District of PA, Scott Brady for Western District

Freed has served as District Attorney since being appointed in 2006. Freed unsuccessfully ran for Attorney General in 2012.
Trump also named Scott Brady as the U.S. Attorney for Western Pennsylvania.
