Election Day is just over a week away, so candidates are making their final pushes.
Republican nominees for Superior Court and Commonwealth Court, Emil Giordano and Paul Lalley respectively, each released 15-second TV spots today.
Giordano’s commercial focuses on his endorsements from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the State Troopers and the FOP.
“Vote Judge Emil Giordano, he shares our strong family values,” the narrator concludes.
Meanwhile, Lalley’s ad emphasis his experience and belief in lower taxes (although it notes that he too was endorsed by the Post-Gazette).
“Paul Lalley is the experienced, qualified candidate for Commonwealth Court,” his commercial asserts. “The taxpayer’s’ choice for Commonwealth Court.”
Giordano is running against Democratic nominee Alice Beck Dubow for an open seat on the Superior Court while Lalley is facing Dem nominee Michael Wojcik for a seat on the Commonwealth Court. The election will be held on November 3rd.

Paul Lalley is uniquely qualified for Commonwealth Court having spent his entire career practicing the type of law and cases that Commonwealth Court decides.
