The early bird never catches the worm in campaigning. He is a tremendous long shot who needs visibility and a head start to attract donors. The smart money, however, will sit on the sideline until you hear Sestak, McCord decisions.

He better hope Sestak and/or Casey won’t run in the primary (I don’t think Casey will, for what it’s worth, but Sestak is a very real possibility), or he’s toast before he even gets to the general.

Will this force Sestak’s and McCord’s hand? Will this make them officially launch their campaign now? When will he list his campaign contributions? Does this allow him to fund raise now? If so, those two guys better figure out if they are in or out. It is way to early to talk about momentum but this guy will have a jump on them.

He is a class act that would make an excellent Governor. However, he makes way to much sense on the Marcellus Shale to ever have a prayer of winning the Democratic Primary.
