A primary challenger has risen in southern Lancaster County to take on House Republican Leader Bryan Cutler, as Salisbury Township’s Dave Nissley announced his campaign for Pennsylvania State Representative.
In a press release, Nissley said that he aims to represent the conservative faith-driven, community-oriented and small business values of Pennsylvania’s 100th district
“I am running for State Representative because our current Representative, Bryan Cutler, has abandoned the values of the 100th district,” said Nissley. “He has betrayed his constituents’ conservative values by passing Act 77 and no-excuse mail-in ballots, and worst of all, electing a Democrat speaker of the House when Republicans had the majority.”
The proprietor of Vintage Landscaping since 1992, Nissley says his priorities would include property tax reform, standing for life, increasing school choice, de-regulating small businesses, and restoring integrity in elections.
“I am committed to offering my own sweat, hard work, and financial means to this campaign, he said on his website. “We will work tirelessly with you to keep this great Republic that we have inherited.”
He and his wife, Lillian, have four children.
Cutler is serving in his eighth term in Harrisburg and was the 139th Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, serving in 2020-21.

He is another ultra Christian nationalist who wants to ram his fundamentalist religious ideology down our throats. NO THANKS.
Fascinating to me that demonizing people and making broad, false accusations are now standard operating procedure. Cutler is the poster child for a corrupt, out-of-touch political class. He needs to go, and this challenger looks like just the kind of fresh face we need.
