State Representative Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin) announced his intent to run for reelection in the 125th Legislative District on Wednesday.
“I am proud to announce my candidacy for reelection for state representative. In my past two terms, I have accomplished much, however there is more to get done,” stated Kerwin. “During these difficult times, strong fiscal management and legislative leadership are crucial.”
The lifelong resident of Dauphin County has won two terms to the State House and continues to focus on defending the Second Amendment, protecting the unborn, honoring and assisting veterans, and reducing taxes and regulation.
“I’m proud of my record of standing up for hard-working Pennsylvanians and defending the Constitution while steadfastly serving the constituents of the 125th District,” said Kerwin. “I will continue to fight for Pennsylvania families against reckless policies that jeopardize our Commonwealth’s financial wellbeing and the constitutional rights’ of Pennsylvanians. I look forward to continuing to work hard for northern and central Dauphin County.”
A graduate of Penn State with a J.D. from Penn State Dickinson School of Law, Kerwin has served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for over 11 years and is presently a Captain in the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, Ga.
