Donald Trump has secured his first endorsement from Harrisburg.
State Rep. Mike Vereb is backing Trump’s presidential campaign.
“Donald Trump’s directness is refreshing,” Vereb stated. “That his candor is resonating with so many voters from diverse backgrounds is not surprising given we’re in an era when every message is tested by polling and focus groups and watered down to where it doesn’t mean anything.”
Vereb also denounced any effort to deny Trump the nomination at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland and delivered a message to PA’s 54 unbound delegates.
“This is 2016. The era of political bosses cutting deals in smoke-filled backrooms ended decades ago,” the State Rep. asserted. “Those elected delegates to the Republican National Convention should cast their vote on the convention floor for whomever wins the Pennsylvania Republican Presidential Primary. I will be casting my vote for Donald Trump and urge fellow Republicans to do the same. It is time to ‘Make America Great Again’”.
Trump has already won the support of two PA Congressman, Tom Marino and Lou Barletta.
Vereb’s 150th district includes parts of western Montgomery County.
Pennsylvania’s primary is set for April 26th.

I can’t wait for the post-2016 house cleaning where we put these Trump-enablers out to pasture. Marino, Barletta, Pickett, Scavello, and Vereb have effectively ended their political careers.
Add Mike Vereb to the list of faux conservatives whose political judgment should never be trusted again. Call it whatever you wish, but – whether Trump is nominated or not – these clowns will be called to account for their actions. After this is over, there will be no “forgive and forget” as if it never happened.
Message to Mike Vereb…Thank you for your bravery and compassion by representing the will of your fellow countrymen. Another delegate closer to Making America Great Again. We want our beautiful country back!
