Allentown City Councilman Peter Schweyer won the Democratic nomination for this newly relocated seat.

With 81% of precincts reporting at 9:29pm, Schweyer had 66% of the vote, or 902 votes. He beat community activist Tatianna Tooley, who had 34%, or 474 votes.

The 22nd House seat comes from Allegheny County to Lehigh County, courtesy of redistricting. It’s a heavily Hispanic district in Allentown that leans strongly Democratic.
