State Rep. Jesse White has unveiled his premiere campaign commercial and like several Democrats running for seats in the legislature he is focusing his sights on Governor Corbett.

“This is Jesse White, your state representative,” the narrator states. “You’ve seen what Tom Corbett’s Republicans are saying about him, but the facts speak for themselves.”

The thirty-second spot goes on to detail White’s work in securing natural gas drilling in the district.

“With a record like that, no wonder Corbett’s friends are after him,” the narrator concludes.

“This race should be about the issues, not false claims and doublespeak,” White asserts in a statement accompanying the ad. “I am very proud to be running a campaign focused on real solutions to Southwestern Pennsylvania’s problems. It is unfortunate that voters won’t be able to directly contrast our positions since Mr. Ortitay refuses to participate in public forums. It is clear that Jason doesn’t have the fortitude to stand behind his attacks and shows voters exactly what kind of representative he would be.”

State Rep. Jesse White is running against Republican nominee Jason Ortitay in the House’s 46th district. The district consists of Allegheny, Beaver and Washington counties.
