Democrats in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Tuesday turned to a veteran member from the Pittsburgh suburbs to be their floor leader and elevated the chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee to whip, the second-ranking post. Voting behind closed doors in the state Capitol, House Democrats elected Rep. Frank Dermody of Allegheny County as minority leader for the 2011-12 session. Rep. Michael K.
