Iovino Releases Digital Ad Ahead of Democratic Nominating Convention for PA-18

Democrat Pam Iovino launched a series of digital ads ahead of the Democratic Party’s nominating convention on November 19th introducing herself in a two minute video with 15 and 30 second versions as well.

The video concentrates on Iovino’s roots in the Pittsburgh area, and her Naval service.  Iovino served in the Navy for 23 years, eventually earning the rank of Captain.  Iovino worked as a Congressional liaison during her service in the Navy, and in the Department of Veterans Affairs.  At Veterans Affairs, Iovino was an Assistant Secretary.

The ad is being pushed on social media, with a “significant ad buy” behind it, according to a release from the campaign.  With the latest tools offered by Facebook and Twitter, campaigns can target on a much more specific audience than through television and mail, making it a useful tool for a campaign looking to build support in a nominating process.

  1. Good Ad! Now do one for Conor Lamb, the newly endorsed Democratic candidate for PA-18. Got to run a great intro vid early and often on real TV.

  2. It’s people like you that helped get Trump elected. Constantly searching for a reason Trump won other than the fact Hillary was an awful candidate. The mere thought that Russia’s ridiculously small “add buy” on facebook can swing a Presidential Election only shows how little you know about campaign advertising. Plus the constant affirmation from the left that Russia won the election for Trump will only embolden their actions later on. But honestly, the world needs more keyboard heroes so keep up the good work DD.

The Russians got created a pro-Trump rally, and also got anti-Trump protesters top show up at it. Of course they interfered. Facebook officials have testified that up to 126 million people were exposed to Russian fake ads. Two popular conservative Twitter accounts were just outed as Russian trolls.

Russia was behind the leak of Clinton campaign emails to wiki leaks (some of which, we now know, were edited from the original).

PA fell to Trump by a mere 45,000 votes.

      1. Yea, and some people can’t get over the fact that “45” didn’t win the popular vote especially the guy who said he is the only one that matters (in the whole gov’ment”).

Yes. The Russians used these tools to help elect Trump
