Joe Sestak Wins Debate, Toomey Fails to Turn Around Struggling Campaign

Harrisburg, PA – At tonight’s debate, Pat Toomey failed to turn around his struggling campaign as Joe Sestak discussed his record of pragmatic leadership and his policies that benefit Pennsylvania families.

“At tonight’s debate, Pat Toomey continued to fight for corporate special interests while dismissing policies that help middle class Pennsylvanians,” said Mark Nicastre a spokesman with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “Tonight, Pat Toomey failed to turn around his struggling campaign, and it is clear why: Pat Toomey may be the candidate of Sarah Palin, Rick Santorum and Wall Street banks, but with his plans to eliminate all corporate taxes, put Social Security in the hands of Wall Street bankers and ship jobs overseas, Pat Toomey is not the candidate of middle class Pennsylvanians.
