Joe Sestak Wins Debate, Toomey Fights for Corporate Special Interests

Harrisburg, PA – At tonight’s debate, Joe Sestak showed that he is the only candidate who will fight for Pennsylvania families while Pat Toomey continued to stand up for Wall Street and corporate special interests.

“With Joe Sestak leading in the polls, Pat Toomey gave a forceful defense for his plan to put Social Security in the hands of Wall Street bankers and his support for corporations that ship Pennsylvania jobs overseas,” said Mark Nicastre a spokesman with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “After tonight’s debate it is clear: Pat Toomey could not be more out of touch with Pennsylvania. Pat Toomey may have the endorsements of Sarah Palin and his corporate special interest friends, but after his display at tonight’s debate, he has lost any remaining support he had with middle class Pennsylvanians.”
