  1. Scott Wagner showed a disconnect with the voters when he appeared on a program in Pike County with a controversial pastor as noted in a Pittsburgh Post Gazette story of July 10th. The Pastor’s brother organized the event and it was held at a place he owned so, according to the Pastor’s brother, it should be assumed the controversial pastor (his brother) would be there. See the link above for the story itself. This matter on top of a poll Wagner had taken at a Republican State Committee meeting asking how many had employer sponsored healthcare–to raise their hands–reflects a disconnect with the voters because what does this have to do with whether or not our society needs better healthcare?
