July 15th Playbook

The PAGOP elects Lawrence Tabas as their new chair, while Sen. Bernie Sanders is set to rally in Philadelphia. Here is the Playbook. 

PAGOP Elects Tabas Chair, Calls for Unity and Trump 2020 Effort: Tabas and Comfort called for party unity and guaranteed a victory for Trump in Pennsylvania at the meeting in Hershey.

Comfort Exits PAGOP Chair Race, Clearing Path for Tabas: The joint statement from Comfort and Tabas sent from the Pennsylvania GOP, states that Tabas will lead the party, while Comfort will continue to serve as Vice Chair and will be appointed by the Trump 2020 Campaign to serve as the Campaign Chair in Pennsylvania.

July 12th Ups & Downs: The Pennsylvania GOP appears to have a new chair, a former Republican hopeful for Governor moves up in President Trump’s administration, and a Philadelphia Councilwoman has the chance to grab headlines at Netroots Nation in Philly.
