Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick’s campaign brings in $490K in Q2, while the Allegheny County Republicans elect a new chair. Here is the Playbook. 

PA1: Fitzpatrick Raises $490K in Q2: The GOP congressman entered the month of July with just over $810,000 cash on hand.

Sam DeMarco Elected Allegheny County GOP Chair: The Allegheny County Councilman believes the local party was broken, but promises to fix it.

Scott Endorses DePasquale: The 2018 Democratic candidate for the 10th Congressional District, George Scott, announced that he’s endorsing Auditor General Eugene DePasquale in his bid for the seat in 2020. DePasquale and attorney Tom Brier, are currently the only two Democrats who have filed to run for the 10th District thus far.
