Kane Pledges to Release All of Eakin’s Emails

Kane-ConferenceIn case you’ve been stuck on Mars with Matt Damon and haven’t heard the news, Kathleen Kane is in quite a bit of legal trouble.

Whenever the AG has found herself facing a judge, though, she always has an ace in the hole to fall back on; the thousands of inappropriate and illicit emails shared by hundreds of government employees.

She’s already used them to humiliate her enemy Frank Fina and his associates.

Now, on the heels of the Judicial Conduct Board suspending her law license, Kane is going after Supreme Court Justice Michael Eakin.

Yesterday Kane pledged to release over 1,000 emails that Justice Eakin received and forwarded to the public. That release could come as early as today.

The same Judicial Conduct Board investigated Eakin over the emails when former Justice McCaffery threatened his colleague with them.

Meanwhile, the suspension of Kane’s license has officially gone into effect.

  1. Big Moola, let’s see, Kane violated criminal laws and got caught red-handed. Then she picked the most “offensive” emails in Eakin’s collection (and he only sent two) and they could be displayed on TV during prime time. So, one broke the law and the other did not.

That’s why a bipartisan team is beginning the process of removing Kane from office.

  2. Where are those “Democrat’s” Wolf, DePasquale, Teplitz and others who were so quick to call on Kane to resign. Why aren’t they calling out now for a S C Justice to resign immediately !!!! What a Bunch of ChickenShit’s ……. Yea every Democrat should race to to support them !!

  3. btw – my understanding is that Corbett = one-term-tommy; Fina is a racist AND a perv. And the Clown Car attacking Kane got the go-ahead from a guy that wants Kane’s job. Can’t make this stuff up!!

  4. H3 – You are going to have to start your own fan-club.All these copy-cats!! You are officially a legend of the comments section.

  5. Like Lady Justice, I am also blind-folded and I will wave my sword wildly in all directions if you attack Kathleen Kane or any other Democrat, all the while ranting about Corbett Pervs, a Clown Car, Fina, and other nonsensical blatherings.

  6. The common thread that runs through the cases of both Judge Dobson and Justice Eakin is that they are both Republicans, as is Graci, who even ran for a judgeship as a Republican. These two examples of GOP lawyer (and judge hopeful) protecting GOP judges is just the tip of the corruption. Castille is also GOP and began the effort against Kane. Now his name is being floated as an AG candidate for 2016. No conflict of interest there, right?

  7. OBSERVER: You are correct about Robert Graci. He is the Judicial Conduct Board lawyer who wrote the despicable letter that they could find “no probable cause” in the blatant unethical misconduct of Judge Dobson.
Justice is supposed to be blind, but not the prosecutor. He should have nothing to do with discipline and should never be a judge.

  8. Pat Unger: You are correct about the need to probe earlier Eakin “investigation”. But that is just the start.
Most Disciplinary “investigations” are bogus. Only those that are political enemies, like MCCaffery, get hounded out of office. Friends get protected by insipid inability to find anything wrong with obviously unethical behavior.
For example, Judge Thomas Dobson of Mercer County who refused to let a litigant speak or submit evidence at a hearing, then wrote an Opinion falsely declaring that he did not deny due process to the litigant. Moreover, he then put a footnote in said Opinion admitting he refused to let the litigant speak or submit evidence because he did not like what the litigant was expected to say. Could not find any evidence of misconduct in that said the Judicial Conduct office.

  9. Hard to imagine the pervert shills being any more transparent here. Sad. So sad … The guy I feel most badly for is Seth Williams. He just wanted some Press for some public corruption prosecutions … and he ended up with a ten of career killers – led by Frank Fina and Marc Costanzo. Williams had his chance to put some distance between him and this ABSOLUTE MESS. He chose to call himself a “recovering sexist and misogynist” instead. When is someone in the media going to ask him what he meant by that?

Now he will get embarrassed on the legislative sting case. And he has to deal with an Office full of legitimate prosecutors upset that he keeps Fina and Costanzo.

  10. #2 (AKA – bowel movement) — How was Pat’s comment in any way related to Kane’s case? I’ll give you a hint … It wasn’t.

You must be a Repervlican TEA-slurper. LOL

  11. Pat Unger, you are correct. Kane was “set up” and forced to ignore her Democratic advisors, knowingly leak confidential materials to the media, and then lie about it under oath. I don’t know how the Repervlicans pulled it off, but while they were sending mere emails, they forced Kane to promote a guy who was actually molesting women in the office. Those Repervlicans even managed to force Kane to fire the HR Director who said, hey maybe you shouldn’t promote a guy who’s feeling up subordinates. It’s all a set-up!!

  12. Observer – Judging by the venom of the Repervlicans below, it appears that you are onto something.

You are correct that all prior “investigations” that white-washed Eakin’s involvmemt now need to be probed.

Castille seems to have given State $$$ to a buddy to lie about Eakin’s involvment. Tssssk, tsssssssk

  13. I’m supporting AG Kathleen Kane all the way. She has exposed the corruption in the lurking in the inner recesses of our system. She was set up from day one!

  14. Observer, you can’t even spell the justice’s name right. Go away, you angry little person.

  15. Note that Judicial Conduct Board Chief Counsel – who wrote the McCaffrey and Eakins reports last year, is a Republican, who still contributes to republican judicial candidates, who ran for judge on a ticket with Eakins (and lost while Eakin won), and worked for Ernie Preate and tried to conceal grand jury testimony that looked bad for himself.

This guy should NEVER have anything to do with Ethics! It is no wonder he cleared Eakins toute-de suite – he even hired Byer, a retired Republican judge as a figurehead for that whitewash. The CCourt should disband the JCB, and suspend Eakins ASAP.

And Sklaroff – Eakins forwarded dozens if not hundreds of the emails in question. He was certainly NOT a passive receiver.

  16. Fake aaron, no “sting,” bro. Krazy Kane went krazy and got kaught red-handed. Isn’t it funny that she tried to get Beemer to stop the Supreme Court’s investigation into her leak to the Daily News?

  17. Fake aaron, if by “you guys” you mean the Governor and the senate Democrats, then yes, we are trying to remove Krazy Kane from office. She’s terrible for the brand in the next election cycle.

  18. Fake Pat Unger – Wait … you guys are trying to get another D female removed from Office before she has her day in Court?? WTF … I thought you guys loved the Constitutuin (along with your bibles and guns) … Oh well …

  19. But seriously, you’re all shills. SHILLS, I tell you! HaHaHa and I are refusing our meds and we are on a rooftop looking out for the Clown Car full of Corbett Pervs. Why does no one take us seriously?!

  20. Yay !!! I finally have a secret admirer imitating me here !!! This must mean I have really made my mark. Thank you … whoever you are.

  21. POPCORN, her pretrial conference is in December. Her trial could be within one to 6 months later. Most likely, since she is guilty as sin, she will be removed from office much sooner.

  22. Speaking of POPCORN, when is that steaming pile of dung (sting) case headed to Court?

  23. circling what wagons? are there wagons now? i’d be shocked if wolf does anything else. him fact, he spoke out too soon already.

  24. HaHaHa, your reference to popcorn is tired and cliché, but I hope you have it popped and ready tomorrow. The governor and the legislature has had enough of our crazy AG. They’re circling the wagons.

  25. @ d2:

You are invited to document your claim: “Joe Paterno was clearly and actively engaged in a conspiracy after the fact in the cover-up to protect the ‘reputation’ of Penn State football, and put football over the welfare of children.”

  26. LOL @ you, MTG. Shills like you have you have been saying “It’s over” and “She’s done” for over six months. But AG Kane is still standing … and she is still DROPPING BOMBS on your boys. They messed with the wrong “chick” (as you shills like to say). She has been a “calamity” … for Fina & The Corbett Pervs.

Can’t wait until her trial … POPCORN will be ready !!!

  27. This is a good first step. Eakin has been “protected” (by Castille). It is unfair. The citizens of PA have a right to know. And Eakin can do the right thing and resign. Then – the hack that Castille hired to do the initial cover-up … I mean investigation … can return the money he took from the State.

Whatever happens with Kane’s trial (I hope she goes to jail if she illegally leaked protected GJ material), her consistent attacks on the creeps and perverts and racists are GREAT for Pennsylvania. People who make fun of female victims of domestic violence have bno business on the Bench … or in law enforcement. And people who think the following is funny (Fina is alleged to have sent it to his wife) are just racist pigs:

  28. I Hope if Kane has to step Down that she Makes Public all Grand Jury Testimony from all cases that have come into the AGs Office . This is a Great chance for the People to see just how Rotten our Government is .

  29. rsklaroff-

Joe Paterno was clearly and actively engaged in a conspiracy after the fact in the cover-up to protect the “reputation” of Penn State football, and put football over the welfare of children.

  30. This whole thing has been a Witch Hunt against Kathy Kane I for one am Happy that Kane is exposing all these Sleaze Balls that We The People have working for us in Many Government Roles . Eakin must GO along with all Other Government and Elected Officials who have been trading these Porn and Racist E Mails . How disgusting these people are to sit in Judgement of We The People when their Minds are full of Prejudiced and Pornographic FILTH .

  31. Marie, as usual, you are seeing the world through blue-and-white-colored glasses and your conclusion is nonsense. Fina did nothing to affect Joe Paterno’s reputation. Joe was a victim of Sandusky in the same way as Tom Corbett and anybody else who got drawn into that controversy. You should specifically be calling on Kathleen Kane to release her sister’s email.

And, most important, you should be recognizing that this is desperate flailing by Kane with the hope that people will be distracted from her criminal charges. The beginning of the end for her is probably tomorrow.

  32. Isn’t the Supreme Court required to follow precedent? They suspended McCafery within days of receiving information that he sent emails. They issued a rule to the JCB completely circumventing its authority to investigate judges and forced mccafferys retirement. Why is eakin being treated differently? Why does he remain on the court? Why hasn’t Graci recused himself since he is a close personal friend of Eakins?Where is Byers? Still recovering from surgery? The hypocrisy of that court is sickening.

  33. @ Marie:

As a steadfast supporter of JoePa, I’d like to know the basis of your claim that his reputation had been besmirched by FF.

  34. Eager to note whether their release will create more than a “blip on the screen” regarding the legal-troubles besetting AG-Kane.

  35. Yea Attorney General Kane! Now, release all of the porn emails. What do you have to lose? The Republicans and yes, some Democrats, have been out to get you since you were elected! Lets start with Fina. We can thank him for ruining JoPa’s reputation. Say what you will, but why didn’t Fina go after the Second Mile and the monies donated to Corbett and the grants Corbett gave to the Second Mile? When most of the child abuse happened, Sandusky had left Penn State and spent his time at the Second Mile. Yes I do want to see Joe’s Statue where it belongs.
