Lehigh Building Trades Endorse Morganelli

John-Morganelli-loresNorthampton District Attorney John Morganelli scored a plethora of labor endorsements for his Attorney General campaign.

Lehigh Valley Building Trades President James Reilley announced yesterday that they are backing Morganelli.

“I am proud to have the support of the LV Building Trades,” Morganelli stated. “They know me the best and my commitment to enforcing laws that protect the hard working men and women in the labor force.”

The Lehigh Valley Building Trades represent a number of construction unions.

Morganelli is running against Montgomery County Commissioner Josh Shapiro and Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala in the Democratic primary.

  1. Morganelli has a very disturbing and colorful history of shutting down investigations when they do not suit his political agendas. Too many examples to list here…but Kathy Kane will look like tinkerbell, compared to the political damage Morganelli would do, to that office.

  2. Great point, Brett. That is a plus mark for Morganelli. But I am worried about his comments about the e-mail scandal. He said he would shut down the investigation. I do not think the people responsible for crimes (mostly white males) should get a free pass.

  3. Of course the LV Building trades union endorses him. All they need to do is place one call to his office when the overpaid leeches report a job site for hiring minorities. Within 10 minutes Morganelli has his goon squad on site…no joke

  4. I am undecided at this point, but I should point out that Morganelli was against the entrenched phony reformer Corbett in 2008.

  5. A nice man…but he got his clear shot in 2008 and was so bad that when Dems like Obama, Wagner and McCord were pulling in record numbers, he got TROUNCED by Tom Corbett. Sorry John…time to go.

  6. A sock in the puss? Where I come from it’s called a condom, unless your name is Zappala. Then it’s called an energy drink.

  7. Don’t worry the investigation will be finished! As soon as the 2 million dollars allocated to it is used up by the outside law firm. And by the way where I come from calling a man a “boy” “old” or otherwise is liable to get you a sock in the puss.

  8. Can’t get behind Morganelli until he promises to let the Special Prosecutor finish his investigation into Hate-gate.
