The Marcellus gas industry often touts the jobs it creates in PA. Well here’s a new one they might not have thought of: tracking the Marcellus gas industry. With all of the news (political and industry) surrounding the development of Marcellus shale, Tim Bittle of government relations firm Bigley and Blikle, LLC has started a new site, Marcellus Minutes, to collect it all.

A subscription the site provides full access to Marcellus Minutes, as well as a weekly email newsletter. It provides subscribers with current headlines, the latest state government news, including reports on General Assembly and Administration actions as well as a legislative committee hearing testimony and bill tracking.

Prior to the launch of Marcellus Minutes, Bittle published the newsletter privately for two years. Bittle is a member of Bigley and Blikle, LLC. He has 15 years of legislative and lobbying experiences under his belt. Bigley and Blikle have represented Anadarko, a petroleum exploration and production company since September.

A note to our environmentalist friends: Bittle’s background is working with the gas industry, so don’t be surprised if the site doesn’t feature press releases from PennEnvironment or Clean Water Action…
