MCall Poll: “Huh?” Leads Attorney General Race

Freed, left, and Kane

37 percent of likely voters are still undecided in the Pa. Attorney General race according to the latest poll from the Allentown Morning Call and Muhlenberg College. Democrat Kathleen Kane leads Republican Dave Freed 33 percent to 28.

The numbers haven’t budged since Kane had a 33 percent to 27 percent lead over Freed in an MCall poll in late September.

Neither candidate has been on television yet, though a DC-based GOP group did spend about $800,000 attacking Kane.

With voters leaning one way or another included, Kane leads 37 percent to 30.

The survey of 438 likely voters was conducted from Oct. 10 through Monday. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percent.

  1. I don’t have any polling data but I have to think that Kane’s campaign message and media consultants are making a mistake in not reaching into Red Counties where there is a lot of disaffection for Tom Corbett’s handling of Sandusky and other matters and it is clear that Freed is Tom Corbett’s man.
