Meehan Wins 5th and Final Debate
Bryan Lentz on Defense throughout Debate on Broken Promises and Ballot Manipulation
ASTON, PA – At the fifth and final debate in the 7th Congressional district race, Pat Meehan showed an understanding of the issues important to voters, while Bryan Lentz only lodged negative attacks demonstrating how his campaign, following days of bad press, is slowly becoming unhinged.
“Pat Meehan showed not only a command of the issues, but reminded voters about what matters in this election – integrity and honesty. At a time when those characteristics are remarkably scarce in our elected officials, Pat Meehan displayed a respect for voters that Bryan Lentz continues to disregard,” said Bryan Kendro, campaign manager for Pat Meehan.
“During the debate, Lentz asked voters to look past his record of hypocrisy from 2006, and only focus on the issues. But what Lentz failed to recognize was how can he be trusted on any issue, when he’s established a pattern of saying one thing as a candidate and doing another once in office,” Kendro continued.
