Rep. Dan Meuser (R-09) once again teased a run at Pennsylvania’s governor’s mansion during a Wednesday interview with Newsmax.
Asked by host Katrina Szish about rumors she is hearing, Meuser did not shut down the possibility of becoming a candidate to challenge current office-holder Josh Shapiro.
“I think Pennsylvania can be the next Texas, the next Indiana, if you will, the next Florida,” he said. “Our GDP growth is far slower than theirs. Frankly, I think we’ve had two very weak governors in a row. That’s not a good thing. I believe Pennsylvania’s greatest days can move ahead. We need someone who doesn’t pick up Kamala Harris’ view of economic growth and public safety. We need someone to pick up President Trump’s view of such. I think, that’s something I could bring to it if I were to go and make that decision to run for governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.”
Meuser then pivoted to talk about his focus over the next 2-3 months.
“Right now, the next 60-90 days is about getting President Trump’s agenda manifested and enacted and executed upon and delivering for the U.S. and doing my job as a member of Congress.”
Sure sounds like GOP Rep. Dan Meuser is really, really, really considering running for governor in Pennsylvania next year pic.twitter.com/zG1EjhHcd9

So, in other words, Meuser wants to just hand Josh Shapiro a second term, free of charge.
Maybe he can improve on Mastrianos margins and only lose by 12.
