According to a poll recently run by NBC/Wall Street Journal, the two front-runners maintain a strong lead headed into tomorrow’s primary.
On the Republican side, Trump leads with 45% of Republican voters with Cruz in second at 27% and John Kasich in a close third with 24%.
Demographically, Trump continues to perform best among those without a college degree at 52% and those in the northeastern part of the state with 52%.
He struggles among college graduate (37%), women (39%), white evangelicals (40%, but still beating Cruz) as well as in the Philadelphia suburbs (38%, but beats Kasich at 34%).
In the Democratic race, Clinton is beating Sanders 55% to 40% among likely democratic voters.
Clinton is winning among African Americans (67% to Sanders’ 29%), those 45 and older (66% to 28%) as well as women (62% to 34%).
On the other hand, Sanders holds the lead among those who are under the age of 45 (60% to Clinton’s 34%) and men (49% to 45%).
NBC News, the Wall Street Journal and Marist Poll surveyed 734 likely PA Democratic primary voters and 571 likely PA Republican primary voters. The margins of error are +/- 3.6% and 4.1% respectively.
