One Response

  1. The Trump effect had a big impact on Pa politics including the “mini me” Trumpers–Wagner and Barletta. It is tempting to wonder had Hillary won what would the political landscape have been for Wolf and Casey? For sure the races would have been closer and, perhaps, stronger candidates who weren’t “mini Trumps” may have emerged but whatever the case the Trump era made life much easier for Wolf and Casey. Scott Wagner clearly has been a great success in business but simply misjudged politics and missed the nuances that having experience in the political arena teach. In a sense, everybody thinks they are an expert on politics but the reality of success in politics is much different than business and, perhaps, this has occurred to Wagner.
