All this “political consultant jabber chatter” about sanctuary cities and caravan did not mean a thing in the Cartwright race with Chrin. Politics at its core despite what all the well paid consultants pitch to their potential clients is about meeting the needs of the voters and those needs to not include irrational fears about a gathering of the desperately poor in another country traveling to see if they find something better. In fact, I would argue that Chrin blabbering about sanctuary cities in Scranton probably appeared as superficial as it was to voters and only appealed to the core supporters. Chrin is not the Republican to win in that district and all the money in the world will not change that fact.
Trump is an alien to American values.
