  1. Emily Skopov is coming unglued. Her late night Twitter tantrums reek of someone who got so high off the constant attention from her echo chamber and suddenly she’s irrelevant. She lost by almost 10 points in the “best chance” year for the dems. Given the results elsewhere on Tuesday, a 10 point win for any Republican was a great night.

  2. I don’t know Val but I think it is missing the point to blame the Republican loss on him. The blame lies completely on the shoulders of Scott Wagner. Val could not stop Scott Wagner from making a fool of himself with debacles that ranged from arguing with a young voter at a town meeting in Montgomery County, he could not stop Wagner from confronting a tracker at York Country Club, he could not stop Wagner from basically saying he wanted to walk across the leader of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s face with golf spikes. Let’s put the blame right where it belongs on the poor candidacy of Scott Wagner who revealed himself to be a thin skinned gubernatorial nominee who had little political experience and even less political skills. Scott Wagner was an epic colossal failure of such magnitude that he, most likely, was the worst nominee the Pennsylvania Republican Party has ever put up in it’s entire history. Additionally, let’s give credit where credit is due in that Tom Wolf is an excellent candidate who perfect in his role as Democratic nominee for Governor. I don’t think he had record breaking advisers but rather Wolf was just a flawless candidate who is skilled and makes few mistakes in a campaign. Bottom line: the catastrophic failure of the Wagner campaign goes way beyond his advisers and supporter and goes directly to the candidate himself–Scott Wagner.

  3. The comments sections in a couple of threads is revealing. They really think Val was the problem. The message the voters sent was not received. The poor Lou thing is really funny. Great. They will run Trumpers everywhere.

    1. Val was a disaster. He rigged the endorsement process for Wagner. Wagner got the ticket slaughtered. Lou could have won, but Val never supported his campaign. Val loved riding around on the helicopters with Wagner and Zaborney. Good move. Probably had a good view of all the losses from up there. In Chester County, the GOP had 7 State Reps going into Election Day, now they have 2.

What did the state party do to help candidates? If you do a poll of candidates and they would say not a damn thing.

At the next PAGOP Meeting, members should call for new leadership elections…. but they won’t. Too bad. Rob Gleason, Ted Christian, Jerry Morgan… Bring someone back who can win. If I was Trump, I would be on the phone with Rob Gleason right now.
