  1. The Scott Wagner “golf spikes” video is really a gut check for us as a society. For Scott Wagner to post on Facebook that he will “walk on Governor Wolf’s face with golf spikes” represents a new low in our political talk. I think there are certain actions a candidate can take that should make their candidacy disqualified. Scott Wagner’s “golf spikes” video crosses the line into such unacceptable behavior that his candidacy is no longer valid. What really disturbs me is thinking about the act of walking on someone’s face with golf spikes. It creates a troubling mental picture. It is definitely wrong to say this and it sets the absolutely worst example for our leaders in terms of political speech. We, as a society, can do a lot better than the Wagner “golf spikes” Facebook posting.
