Trump Tweets Support of Rothfus: Monday morning, President Donald Trump tweeted out the following, thanking Keith for the job he’s done, “Great job being done by Congressman Keith Rothfus of Pennsylvania. Thank you Keith!”

Washington Post Profile of Fitzpatrick: The Washington Post’s Colby Itkowitz’s “Is Spurning Trump Enough? Republican Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is about to find out.” details the Republican incumbent seeking reelection for the newly drawn 1st Congressional District and his effort of distancing himself from President Trump.

Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald’s Open Letter to Squirrel Hill: Fitzgerald is a resident of Squirrel Hill, which he writes that he is “proud to call” his home in the open letter.

Legislative Election Update:

SD-38: Republican Jeremy Shaffer’s New TV Ad Attacks Democratic candidate Lindsey Williams for seeking the Democratic Socialists of America endorsement and her response in an interview with KDKA about her affiliation with the group.

HD-165: An attack ad against Democratic candidate Jen O’Mara attempts to link her with Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and the “PA Fund for Change.” O’Mara responded via tweet about this attack ad to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Holly Otterbein stating, “I’m also not involved with PA Fund for Change AND I’ve never met Larry Krasner in my life. Seems like it’s the @PAGOP and local electeds from Delco that are spreading lies and divisiveness in our politics.”
