One Response

  1. Sabato’s numbers are good. He was always telling people who did not listen that Trump was popular in 2016 and to not dismiss him as a candidate. When historians of Pennsylvania politics write the story of 2018’s Governor race it will be how the Pennsylvania Republican Party had a golden opportunity to claim the mantle of power and had rock solid candidates in Pa who could have given Gov Wolf a run for his money but instead chose the single worst candidate in the history of the Pa Republican Party–Scott Wagner–who spent the entire Spring and Summer raising self defeating mistakes to an art form. For me, I still cannot forget that youtube video where a tracker maybe earning a little beyond minimum wage is confronted by Scott Wagner at his country club. Wagner said to those York Country Club members, “this is your State Senator in action.” He then proceeds to give the person with the least resources and standing in that room a hard time. The tracker kept saying that he only wanted his video recorder back. Unforgettable youtube posting.
