PA-10: Scott Brion Releases First TV Ad

Scott Brion, the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, released his first TV ad today.

The 30 second spot, titled “Land”, begins with Brion discussing his connection to Liberty, PA, and how his ancestors have been there for nearly 200 years.

Due to the connection, Brion says, “I feel responsible to his place and people who live here. The families, neighbors, and small towns.”

As Brion is chopping wood, he takes a negative stance against his opponent, asserting, “Tom Marino is the problem with Congress. All he cares about is bickering in Washington.” Brion tells viewers he will not be the same, and will care about working for rural Pennsylvania.

Brion concludes, “For rural Pennsylvanians, Congress just isn’t cutting it, but I will.”

One Response

  1. Marino has a gerrymandered district, but he’s just not very popular. In a three way race, this district is in play. Brion, as the Democratic nominee, stands a better chance to win a plurality, than Independent Troiano. But the latter is running a strong campaign & will draw more votes than your typical independent. If the two of them can pull enough votes from Marino, then one of them (probably Brion) will be the next congressman.
