Janelle Stelson, Democratic candidate for the 10th Congressional District seat, released the first two ads of her general election campaign, titled “HR 431” and “Career.”
The longtime Harrisburg-area TV broadcast journalist’s campaign says the ads put a spotlight on Rep. Scott Perry’s (R-10) efforts to ban abortion nationwide and Stelson’s commitment to making Washington work for everyday people.
“Our ads make plain that this race comes down to a simple choice: Career Politician Scott Perry who has done little to try to support the people of Central Pennsylvania or Janelle Stelson, who will stand up for the middle class,” said Alma Baker, Stelson’s campaign manager. “Our campaign is honored to have broad support across the district and thankful to have the resources we need to beat career politician Scott Perry in November.”
The PA-10 contest will be one of the most closely-watched races in the country as Democrats target Perry and his central Pennsylvania district in hopes of winning back the majority in the U.S. House.

“This is HR 431, the bill to ban all abortions in Pennsylvania and nationwide.
Right on page one is Congressman Scott Perry.
Perry would ban abortion with no exceptions even for victims of rape.
Putting politicians in the middle of your most personal decisions, that is just too far.
I’m Janelle Stelson and I approve this message because I am committed to protecting our freedom.”

“You learn a lot about a place when you tell its stories.
I left my dream job to do something about how messed up Washington is.
Congressmen get rich trading stocks with insider information. That’s unacceptable.
They become lobbyists when they retire. That should be banned.
And we need term limits now. Scott Perry’s been in politics for 30 years.
I’m Janelle Stelson and I approve this message because nothing will change until we fire the career politicians.”

Scott Perry attempted to dishonor my vote with his FAKE ELECTORS. He should have been arrested, found guilty and jailed. He needs to RESIGN AND GO AWAY
Scott Perry refused to turn over his cell phone to the prosecutor of the Federal election subversion case until ordered by Chief Judge Boasberg. That leads me to conclude he was somehow complicit in the attempted overthrow of a free and fair Presidential election January 6, 2021.
That combined with his extreme abortion stance of no exception, even in the case of rape, to me makes him unsupportable.
I have met with Ms. Stelson, whom I found knowledgeable, reasonable and very much attuned to the issues and needs of Central PA. She has my whole-hearted support.
I agree Ms. Stelson must be elected the next Congresswoman for the 10th Congressional District. Rick Perry is corrupt, and aider & abettor of Trump, the fascist terrorist who tried to overturn our democracy on Jan. 6, 2021. Rick is unfit to be a Congressperson. He supported the insurrection and should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
