PA-12: Keith Rothfus Releases Two New TV Ads (VIDEOS)

Keith Rothfus, the Republican Congressman from Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, released two new television ads today, both of which were positive.

The first thirty-second spot, “Bosses”, begins with four people saying, “I’m Keith’s Boss.” It then cuts to Rothfus telling viewers he has “700,000 bosses in Western Pennsylvania.”

He promises to pass a budget while in Congress, and if a budget does not pass, Congressmen won’t get paid.

Rothfus concludes, “I approve this message because I work for you.”

The second thirty-second spot is entitled “Simple”. It begin with Rothfus and his daughter, Helen, at the table doing homework. In the commercial, Rothfus says with many things he has found that “the answer is simple before you make it complicated.”

He then asks viewers a ‘simple’ question: What is the answer to a stagnant economy, skyrocketing healthcare costs, and a dangerous national debt?

The answer, Rothfus says, is to “Give people more choice and less government.”

The ad ends on a rather humorous note, in which Rothfus confesses, “Unlike Washington, this math homework really is complicated.”

  1. I suppose that’s better than Rothfus’ smarmy ad fishing for sympathy votes by talking about how he had cancer. Ewww.

  2. You just don’t get it—slick political ads can’t make you a decent and caring person—all you have to do is check the Rothfus voting record. Rothfus is just plain unfit to serve. Check his record he’s a fraud.
