Two new TV spots appeared for Democratic candidates Marian Moskowitz (PA-157) and Chuck Hadley (PA-165). Each ad stresses the importance of job creation, natural gas taxation and improved school funding.
Moskowitz’ ad, paid for by the PA House Democratic Campaign Committee (HDCC), pinpoints Moskowitz as the candidate to restore job security in Chester and Delaware Counties. To highlight Moskowitz’ work to increase access to vocational training and GED courses, the ad depicts Franklin Commons, an educational and job training center Moskowitz championed in 2008.
The commercial continues to draw attention to her tax policy, which advocates for increased taxes on natural gas drillers to restore the $1 billion Governor Corbett and Republican incumbent PA-157 state representative, Warren Kampf, cut from the education budget. Also on her docket is working to ensure “real property tax relief” for homeowners.
In line with Moskowitz’ goals, Hadley believes “perseverance is America’s greatest asset” and underscores the 30 years he dedicated to creating jobs in his county. The ad, also paid for by the HDCC, emphasizes support for small businesses to build a sustainable economy.
Hadley also sponsors a tax on the natural gas industry to reduce the impact of fracking, and use the additional funds to invest in the local schools. He, too, opposes Governor Corbett’s education cuts and criticizes his opponent, incumbent Republican state representative William Adolph, for supporting the cut.
“If we demand it, and never relent, I know Pennsylvania’s best days are ahead” Hadley concludes.
Hadley is running against incumbent State Representative, Republican William Adolph, who has gone unchallenged since 1989. PA-165 hasn’t had a Democratic state representative since 1975.
PA-157 saw its last Democratic State Representative in 2005. Moskowitz will challenge Republican State Rep. Warren Kampf, who took office in 2011.

As much as he may try Chuck Hadley’s money is not enough to buy the 165th. People of both parties respect Bill Adolph as a harding working guy that has been, and will continue to be, a great state representative.
I didn’t hear a word the narrator says in the Hadley ad because I was so distrurbed at seeing the caandidate in bike pants.
