Christian Hartman is hopping that Donald Trump will sink Lloyd Smucker.

The leaked audio of Trump making offensive comments during a 2005 shoot for Access Hollywood blew up last weekend.

Now Hartman is hitting the airwaves with a new commercial, titled “Really”, featuring Trump’s remarks about women.

“Is this our next President?” the narrator asks before playing the Trump audio.

“Well Lloyd Smucker thinks so,” she states as the ad plays footage of Smucker praising Trump during an October 1st introduction of the nominee in Lancaster.

“It’s time for a change and that change is Donald J. Trump,” Smucker declares.

“Trump and Smucker, wrong for women, wrong for us,” the narrator concludes.

After the tape of Trump was revealed, Smucker denounced the comments of the man at the top of his party’s ticket.

“As a husband and a father of two daughters, I find Donald Trump’s comments about women to be lewd, inappropriate and appalling. I strongly denounce these offensive comments”

The 16th Congressional District includes parts of the Berks, Chester, and Lancaster Counties.

  1. Polling has her in stricking distance less the 4 points which is a shock in this R heavy district. Great candidate with her own stellar reputation. Turnout could turn this one – oh happy day!

  2. Includes the cities of Lancaster and Reading; Lancaster County has over 500,000 residents and the Berks portion add another 100,000 plus whatever is in Chester, not very rural in my opinion.

  3. The 16th is an R+6 district, meaning 6 points more Republican than the country as a whole. I’d be surprised if Hartman won, but not shocked. If Trump drags down Republican turnout, this could be one of the seats that flips.

And if she has money to run even one commercial, she’s in a better position that Balchunis or Parrish, who are jokes of candidates.

  4. Does she even know who makes up the electorate in PA-16? Trump had more primary votes than Hillary in Berks, Lancaster, and Chester and PA-16 is the more rural portion of those counties.
