Congressman Chaka Fattah finds himself at the bottom of the 16-strong list of potential candidates for his seat, according to a Crowdpac leaderboard.
The new website is encouraging readers to vote on proposed replacements for the 2nd district.
PA State Rep. Brian Sims and underdog candidate for Philly Mayor Doug Oliver are runaway leaders on the list, followed by Daniel Muroff, State Sen. Vince Hughes, Nina Ahmad and Philly DA Seth Williams.
There are nine more potential candidates between Williams and incumbent Fattah.
Fattah has seen his share of controversy over the last year, prompting the search for a primary challenger in 2016.
Last August, Fattah aide Gregory Naylor admitted that he had lied to investigators about a loan worth $1 million that was funneled into the congressman’s failed mayoral bid in 2007.
Several months later, Washington, D.C. political consultant Tom Lindenfeld pleaded guilty to wire fraud in connection with the loan.
The same month, Fattah won reelection for his 11th term with 87 percent of the vote.
Federal authorities are also investigating Fattah’s son.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter is the only Democrat that placed lower on the list than Fattah, but Nutter has not talked about his political future once he leaves office.

come on it’s philly….who cares it’s….the voters don’t…they elected Fattah in spite of all his ethical short comings….
Josh-
I have a complete voter file for the entire state. I know where every candidate is registered.
I looked up Brian Sims voter record. He is registered in the first congressional district, not the second.
Brian lives in the 5th ward 8th precinct. He is in 1st Congressional district. 1st State Senate district. 182nd State Leg district.
You can live in any district and run for election in a district you don’t live in. But, as a practical matter, not living in the district is very damaging to your chances.
Dave, I don’t think you know where any of those candidates live.
Josh
Sims doesn’t live in the 2nd district.
Sims should definitely run. Oliver needs some more experience first.
