Dwight Evans has hit the airwaves.
The long-time State Rep. is seeking to take the Democratic nomination in PA-2 from embattled incumbent Chaka Fattah.
His thirty-second TV spot, titled “Dreams”, highlights his career in public service.
“First a community activist, a legislator at 25, always looking out for us,” the narrator intones before mentioning the community projects Evans championed. “Dwight Evans is committed to revitalizing neighborhoods in all of Philadelphia.”
“He’ll be a block-by-block Congressman for us,” the narrator concludes.
Evans is running against Fattah as well as Lower Merion Township Commissioner Brian Gordon and Ninth Ward Leader Dan Muroff.
The 2nd Congressional District consists of parts of Northwest Philadelphia as well as Southwestern Montgomery County.
