PA-2: Q1: Evans Raises $517K, Has $323K COH

Dwight EvansDwight Evans’ fundraising haul is expanding as we near the date of the April 26th primary.

According to the State Representative’s campaign, they raised $517,000 during 2016’s first fiscal quarter which runs from January 1st to March 31st.

This is about $200K more than his 2015 total. Altogether, the campaign has raised just over $877,000 since its inception last November.

Evans has been spending on TV ads and mailings since last month accounting for a $323,000 cash on hand total at the start of April.

The State Rep. is running against embattled incumbent Chaka Fattah in the Democratic primary. Ninth Ward Leader Dan Muroff and Lower Merion Township Commissioner Brian Gordon are also running.

The 2nd Congressional District consists of parts of Northwest Philadelphia as well as Southwestern Montgomery County.

  2. If Evans does not win the primary and I would be disappointed and I would not come to Pennsylvania and I’m hoping is for he wins this thing on Tuesday 4/26/16.
