Rep. Ryan Costello continues to build a healthy stockpile for his first reelection campaign, adding over $251,000 to his stellar fundraising performance in the second quarter.
Costello beat his first quarter haul – $217,580 – but the freshman congressman couldn’t match last quarter’s massive $423K. Costello has raised almost $900K in three quarters and is now sitting on $739,243 in cash on hand.
Costello will face Democratic challenger Mike Parrish in his first reelection bid, after Joe Denham filed a campaign termination report with the FEC.
The Cook Political Report rates the seat R+2. It is currently considered “Likely Republican”.
