Congressman Costello raised over $1.1 million during his first year in office.
PoliticsPA has learned that Rep. Costello raised about $210,000 during 2015’s fourth fundraising quarter. This total would be in line with his Q1 and Q3 results.
The campaign will also be kicking off the election of 2016 with over $860,000 cash on hand.
“From his first day in office, Congressman Costello has focused his energy on representing the citizens of the sixth congressional district not on politics,” Senior Adviser to the Costello Campaign Vincent Galko said. “Now that it’s 2016, the campaign is ramping up and we expect fundraising to continue at an even more aggressive pace. Congressman Costello is extremely grateful for the strong support he has received.”
The Republican freshman is running for his second term. In the Democratic primary, Mike Parrish and Lindy Li are battling for the nomination.
The 6th district consists of parts of Berks, Chester, Lebanon and Montgomery Counties.

Ryan Costello has displayed nothing short of great integrity and leadership as a freshman congressman. Through his YouTube channel and weekly email update we can see how hard he is working for us in Washington DC. He has supported bills for our veterans, national security and our schools! The organization and I would like to thank Mr. Costello for all he has done and will have his back in the upcoming elections.
$210k is not nothing, but it’s not exactly impressive for a potentially vulnerable incumbent in the majority party.
