The last task of every campaign is to make sure their supporters get to the polls on election day.

That’s where PA-7 Democratic nominee Mary Ellen Balchunis ran into trouble.

The Balchunis campaign sent out the customary election day email today. The only problem? It was given the subject line “Vote Tomorrow!”.

This episode epitomizes the Balchunis campaign, which never seriously contested incumbent Rep. Patrick Meehan’s hold on the district despite the fact that it is a relatively even tossup seat. It is rated R+2 by the Cook Political Report.

The 7th district represents parts of Berks, Chester, Lancaster and Montgomery counties.
