PA-8 Democratic nominee Steve Santarsiero is attending an event at the home of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Saturday.
The Democratic leader and former Speaker of the House is hosting an event for a number of Red-to-Blue candidates including Santarsiero, Jacky Rosen and Gail Schwartz.
Also in attendance will be California Reps. Julia Brownley and Raul Ruiz. California Governor Jerry Brown is the special guest speaker.
“We truly hope that Steve Santarsiero enjoys his time away from Southeast Pennsylvania to hobnob with Nancy Pelosi in her home,” NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack said. “When Santarsiero is done drinking Napa Valley wine with Nancy Pelosi, maybe he can check out the many wineries in Bucks County.”
Pelosi hosts a get-together of elected officials, candidates and top donors every August in NAPA Valley.
State Rep. Santarsiero is running against GOP nominee Brian Fitzpatrick in the November general election. Yesterday, it was revealed that Speaker Paul Ryan will campaign for Fitzpatrick later this month.
The 8th Congressional District represents all of Bucks County as well as parts of upper Montgomery County.

So, the “pupil” is going to sit at the knee of his “mentor” and be taught what she knows! How wonderful! She’ll teach him how to lie, how to deceive, how to “steal” from the rich and give NOTHING to the poor, how to say that America “is an evil country” and have their “party faithful” believe every word! She will reinforce his already deep seated belief that “gun owners” must be brought to heel by passing more and more gun regulations! Oh yes, he’ll learn alright!

Sorry Steve Santarsiero, you’re not going to go to Congress as our Congressman! However, I’m sure your new “mentor” will find you a job somewhere within the Democratic Party!
If it’s one thing the voters of Bucks County are likely to see, it’s Pelosi and Santar-zero sipping wine together. That’s a negative ad picture right there if there ever was one.
They’re a perfect pair. I’m sure Nancy Pelosi also sends her kids to a $40k a year high school and pretending to understand normal everyday working people.
I think for he’s going to win this thing in November by using Nancy’s help in this race.
This is really the response from the Fitzpatrick team? Are they not aware that only a few short months ago, Brian Fitzpatrick was actually living in California?
