PA-8: Q3: Fitzpatrick Raises $400K, Has $2.1M Cash on Hand

mike-fitzpatrick2The Republican Congressman built up quite a warchest for the campaign’s final weeks.

In the third fundraising quarter, which stretches from July 1st to September 30th, Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick raised $409,075.

That’s slightly below the $428,563 he raised in the second quarter, but the big news is his cash on hand number.

Right now the Fitzpatrick campaign is sitting on over $2.1 million. This is actually an improvement from last quarter of about $200,000. For a campaign to have more money in October then it did in July is extraordinary and a very positive sign for the incumbent.

The Congressman was able to withhold major spending until now thanks to the efforts of Gabby Giffords’ Americans for Responsible Solutions PAC running their own pro-Fitzpatrick ad across the district.

Rep. Fitzpatrick is running against Democratic nominee Afghan and Iraq War veteran Kevin Strouse. We will have a more in-depth analysis of both candidates FEC reports later this week.

  1. Together with everything which seems to be building throughout this specific subject material, your points of view are generally quite stimulating. On the other hand, I am sorry, because I can not subscribe to your whole idea, all be it radical none the less. It would seem to me that your opinions are actually not totally validated and in actuality you are yourself not really entirely convinced of your argument. In any event I did appreciate looking at it.
