State Rep. Steve Santarsiero released a list of new endorsements from local party organizations for his campaign for the Democratic nomination in PA’s 8th district.

The list is presented below:

Concerned Democrats of Springfield Township

Doylestown Democratic Committee

Lower Makefield Township Democratic Committee

Newtown Democrats

Pennridge Democrats

Warrington Democrats Organization

“I’m grateful for the tremendous support our campaign has received since I announced my intention to run for Congress,” said Steve Santarsiero. “The influx of support from Democratic organizations, local and regional leaders, organized labor, and people throughout the 8th Congressional District is key to building a winning campaign in 2016.”

This is the second wave of support Santarsiero has received since launching his campaign back in January. He released a similar list in March, right after 2014 candidate Shaughnessy Naughton announced she would also be running for next year’s Democratic nomination.

The 8th district consists of all of Bucks County as well as parts of Upper Montgomery County. It is rated R+1 by the Cook Political Political and is currently represented by retiring Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick.
