PA-8: Santarsiero Unveils Campaign Team

santarsieroSteve Santarsiero has his team in place.

The State Representative is running for Pennsylvania’s open 8th Congressional District seat next year. Incumbent Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick is stepping down, while Santarsiero will face off against Shaughnessy Naughton in the Democratic Primary.

Gabrielle Quintana Greenfield will serve as Santarsiero’s campaign manager.

A Philly native, she worked on former PA-8 Congressman Patrick Murphy’s 2010 campaign and Allyson Schwartz’s 2012 re-election in PA-13.

“I’m excited to work alongside a candidate like Steve,” Greenfield said. “He is someone with a record of getting results for his community and his constituents. He has a record of winning tough races and a significant base of support in the district. That combination makes him the strongest candidate to win this open seat and I look forward to sharing his message with voters who are hungry for leadership like Steve’s.”

The campaign also announced the following additions:

Raghu Devaguptapu, AL Media – Media Consulting

Devaguptapu, a partner at AL Media, has played a leading role in numerous national campaigns, including the upset victory of Congressman Ami Bera (CA-7) in 2012 and his hotly contested re-election in 2014. He was the first Asian American to be named Political Director of a national committee, first at the DLCC and then at the DGA.

Anna Greenberg, Greenberg Quinlan Rosner – Polling

Greenberg is an experienced pollster in political, non-profit and academic fields. Her track record includes successful campaigns around the country including her work for Governor Tom Wolf and Mayor Bill de Blasio, which earned her the “Pollster of the Year” award from the AAPC. On the congressional level she helped guide many candidates to victory including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham.

Dean Levitan, The Pivot Group – Direct Mail Consulting

Aubrey Montgomery, Rittenhouse Political – Fundraising Consulting

Montgomery has a long resume of fundraising and political experience, with Pennsylvania as her specialty. She served as the finance director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, Allyson Schwartz’s campaign for Governor, and Bryan Lentz’s top-targeted congressional campaign. 1. Before I give any more money to Steve Santarsiero I want to know if he was part of the cabal gave us McGinty over Joe Sestak. With limited financial resources, a candidates judgment is critical.
    thanks

  2. I am a woman and I know Shaughnessy Naughton and she has NO experience whatsoever and to be polite is very ‘untruthful’, is a narcissist and cares about no one, but herself. It seems her hobby is destroying other qualified candidates campaigns. Steve has a ton of experience and can help the 8th Congressional District in many ways.

I will vote for a qualified woman over a qualified man any day, but Shaughnessy is living in some kind of altered universe of delusion. And you can quote me on this one.

  3. Really Patrick. Are you hoping that Rep Santarsiero steps aside so that the R’s can retain the seat? He is a far better candidate and has worked to empower women for years…..wish I could say the same for Ms Naughton.

  4. If Rep. Santarsiero really cared about empowering women he should step aside and clear the way for Ms. Naughton.
