PA Dems, PAGOP Websites Ding AG Candidates

Both state parties took online shots at the opposing Attorney General candidate Wednesday.

The Pa. Republican Party launched a website, CantTrustKane.com, which counts off the litany of Republican criticism about Kane’s record and campaign.

“Kathleen Kane’s duplicitous campaign has disqualified her from seeking an office that demands the public trust,” the site says.

Meanwhile, the PA Democratic Party created the infographic below detailing a connection between Dave Freed and the RSLC, a DC-based group that spent nearly $1 million attacking Kane with tenuous television ads. Though the RSLC’s ad was an independent expenditure and was not coordinated with Freed’s campaign, Dems have sought to connect the two.

The found a tie-in, albeit small. Freed spoke in March at the Republican Attorneys General Association, a subsidiary of RSLC, in March. His campaign consultant paid the $987 attendance fee. The RSLC classified that as a contribution from Freed’s campaign; Freed’s campaign classified it as an in-kind contribution on behalf of the consultant.

Here is the Dems’ infographic:

  1. What low-down sleazy rats Corbett, Leroy the Crook Zimmerman, and Freed are… Having the elves at work doing the bidding. They are going to get their $sses handed to them.
